Fan speed?

Does anyone know the max fan speed in RPMs for the fans in a 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Max? I am just wondering if I have ever seen it on mine. I have run some pretty intensive stuff and have briefly seen 1500-1600 RPMs (perfectly quiet by the way)....is that the max, or no?

Not really an answer to your question but from what I cen tell for my M1 Mini max speed is somewhere around 4500 rpm, base is 1700 rpm. I have seen max 2100 rpm when stressing both CPU and GPU at the same time. But in my normal use case it always sits at 1700 no matter what I do.

Yeah I have never seen past around 1650 RPMs. You have seen 2100 RPMs, interesting!

1600RPM is definitely not the max
They can go over 3000rpm

I ran Endurance to max out everything on my MBP 14" m1 Max 32GB/24 core just to answer this question. According to TG Pro's menu bar display the fans reached 6K and were loud. Other than that I've haven't noticed the fan noise once during normal usage with speeds up to about 2k or so. HTH
