Could using smcFanControl2 burn out my fans faster?

I usually have the fans at around 4000.

Could using smcFanControl2 burn out my fans faster?

Not in any measurable way; the kind of motors used in fans don't "burn out" in the way that brush motors do. (If you cranked them up to full, and then held them still with a pencil for a long time, that might harm them. Otherwise they won't die until some random quirk fails.)

Burn out your fans?

Will lower the life span of them, but they'll keep on going well through the point where you'd probably want to trash your laptop because it is so outdated.

Has an impact on battery life though.
