From the looks of it, it doesn't seem like there are any fantasy football apps in the app store. Am I missing something?
I just want something where I can put in my players and my league's scoring system and get up-to-date scores for my players. It seems fairly simple and I'm a bit shocked that I can't find anything about it.

It'd actually be very non-simple. You'd have to be able to create custom lists of objects, poll data off the internet, determine which data is relevant to your custom object. Then after determining what data is relevant, you'd have to turn that into the proper numbers for your specific scoring matrix. This would be a rather time consuming app to create (properly).

I know exactly what you need, Sportacular (free app)
live scoring and there is a tab u can put in your team. It will only show their stats, then you can figure out their score. you can even add multiple teams

NFL.com has an official iPhone web app now. You can even customize it so that you can view statistics for your fantasy team. It is saved to your phone through your cookies and such.

I'm assuming this is their only option considering the contract they hold with Sprint. Not bad though.

I also use Sportacular. Decent app which promises a fantasy football specific application for next season.

Do you mean an application available from the iTunes App store? As far as I can tell, all that's available now is the wap.nfl.com site - which doesn't appear to let you access your existing fantasy teams. You have to configure it manually to reflect your team.

And worse: It seems to be redirecting automatically, based on the browser type. Meaning that you can't even just access the scoring page that you used to be able to browse on the iPhone.

If they leave it like this, I'm done with the NFL.com site.

I use sportacular too, but what's even better is just using ESPN's mobile site for fantasy. And if you say that you're not playing on ESPN... why not??

I have this app and love it on game day. I can get slow sometimes but overall great performance AND it's free.

If your fantasy league is hosted on Yahoo, you can go to m.yahoo.com/fantasy. Log in and you can see your league/team/matchup. You can even move your players on/off the bench. I think you can even add/remove players.

The point is: NFL.com has a standard web page for tracking your fantasy team in their system. They are PURPOSEFULLY blocking iPhone users from accessing this page - all mobile phone users, actually, based on any identification of a mobile browser.

I don't want to have to re-arrange my lineup and my opponent's lineup in every week in this special site. I just want NFL.com to stop their bonehead blocking.
