It must just be me but I rather like the link/chain and leather band. I think I'd probably like it more if it was link/chains or leather for both bands rather than the combination.

I'd like the idea of a pocket watch chain for the Apple Watch as always had a thing for pocket watches however the necklace chain I'm not so keen on.

While that's the style of necklaces that I love, I wouldn't wear a watch like that. I prefer a watch to check time and the quick glance is the best. Opening a necklace just to see the time would be way too much work for me.

Like somebody else said, if both sides of the band were of that rope chain design, it might be kind of nice. Right now though, too much going on for me.
