What is the wattage of the power adapter?Just ordered a USB C cable and power adaptor for my iPhone 12 and IPad Mini 5. Will it fast charge my iPad Mini 5?
The iPhone 12 should have shipped with USB-C to Lightning cable already. I know my brother's iPhone 12 came with it.
It looks like iPad mini 5 supports up to ~20W fast charge albeit that's just barely faster than 18W. Any current Apple-branded USB PD charger and even the older 18W should be able to fast charge both.
If I were buying though, I'd get minimum 30W. Doesn't cost that much more than 18/20W and it'll charge other devices such as bigger iPads and laptops as well.

The thing is from what I remember.. when I used to see the compatibility for the 18W charger at the Apple online store no iPads were mentioned but all iPads which support fast charging are included 20W and above
Not really. The 2015 iPad Pro supported fast charging but only came with 10/12W charger and USB-A to Lightning cable. Sames goes for 2017 iPad Pros. There were several posts here complaining about that.
Not weird. Just slower than iPhone due to the massive batteries. Fast charging's still a major improvement over the 4+ hour charging times with 10/12W.yeah apples way of “fast charging” for iPads is odd and weird. It’s not simple like how they make it with iPhones (no 50% charging in 30 minutes)
