I've heard the rear camera is downgraded, there's no official HDR support, and the headphone jack has been removed. Now I'm hearing of another potential downgrade from the 2017 models: no fast charging. This is only from one or two reviews that mention it, and I can't find any confirmation on Apple's website. Does anyone know for sure?

There is a 30W power adapter in B&H. I wonder if it will take 1 hour and 33 minutes like the IPP 10.5 (2017) to fully recharge, from 0 or 1 to 100%.

New IPP comes with a new 18w brick for fast charging. I’ve already upgraded my older IPP to the 29w (now 30w) USB-C Apple charging bricks. So I’m still good to go either way.
I went from the old iPad 3 to the first gen IPP back in late 2015. My old iPad 3 had battery issues. If I used it hard it would lose charge even while plugged in. Never had that issue on any other iPads. How were, as soon as I knew I could fast charge I bought that USB-C brick “just in case” and now theres no way that I want to go back to slow charging. Lol
Does anyone know if I'll be able to use the USB-C charger that came with my MBP which is a 61W charger on the IPP? Equally the other way round IPP charger with MBP (guessing this will just charge slower). Would be handy to leave chargers at different places and not have to carry both round. Pretty sure this will work but haven't seen mentioned anywhere.
So how much time does it take with each power adapter? Please post times here (for full recharge, from 0 or 1 to 100%) *

I’ve heard both opinions but haven’t seen any actual test. I was told that the IPP would regulate the needed power and the larger MacBook Pro USB-C brick would work. Then I heard someone else say it wouldn’t because of some chip. So, ultimately I’m zero help with that. I know for sure the 12 inch MAcBook USB-C bricks work for fast charging an IPP.
There is no reason why not. The devices regulate the current so using a larger charger won’t affect the iPad at all (if anything it will enable it to charge the fastest way its battery permits). You can also use the iPad charger to charge your MacBook but keep in mind that charging is going to be slower and the charger might not be able to keep up with the MBP’s power draw under heavy load (meaning your MBP’s battery discharges faster than it charges when in heavy use because the charger you are using is weak). If you want to only carry one charger then use the 61W one for both.
