So I have this CD with really important stuff on it... it is a CDR, not a CDRW. I have some important files in the first session, and I didn't close the disc because I wanted to burn a second session with additional files. And that's exactly what I did, thinking that both sessions would mount afterwards. But they don't, only the second one appears. Toast (that's what I used) shows both sessions under "CD info", but I am not able to mount the first one! I tried Disc Utility, different CD-Drives, even BurnX Free and SessionBurner... the data is there, but how can I get it

Got it!

Alright, I figured it out myself. The only way to do this was to select the "ISO 9660" option in Toast and to import the old session to a CD-ROM XA... Joliet names had to be allowed, and now everything seems to be back there

hhmmm... i don't know what would have caused that. i always just burn regular data CDs on the setting 'Mac and PC'. that's the only special setting i use and then i can just keep burning sessions and it's all fine.

Well, I thought I could do that too... but for some reason, it didn't work. Oh well...
