Fastest Converter???

Hi i have most of my movie HD 720p/1080p files on my mac in .mkv and avi and i was wondering what is the fastest way to get them all into itunes with all the info and artwork with them.

At the moment i am using iflicks beta 1.3.10 which will now convert .mkv but its taking 2hours per movie and i have at least 40 to put into my itunes library.
I will then be moving my whole itunes library/source to an external harddrive

HandBrake can help, but as transcoding is very CPU intensive and takes a while HandBrake might take two hours too.

Jailbreak your atv2 install xbmc

Takes 5 minutes

Set up a cue in Handbrake and you can run it while you are asleep and at work. You'll be done in a few days.

Using handbrake is not the right way to go for this. Many of them don't need to be transcoded. Just de/remuxed. Mp4tools will work. There's another thread recently with more options. The one about all Mac htpc.
