Fastest way to get ATV3?

I have considered buying the ATV3 after so much deliberation. I want to have it when it gets launched on Mar 16. Apple now has a shipping estimate of 1-2 wks so I won't receive it until about Mar 27-Apr 1 if I order it thru Apple. Do you think I may be able to get it this Fri Mar 16 or the weekend of 17/18 if I go to an Apple Store or even Best Buy?

Yep, downscaled to 720p, because the ATV2 still only outputs 720p max, fail

Apple Store...Friday?

Every one will be going for the new iPad so getting your hands on ATV3 should be a piece of cake. They may be a bit more popular than ATV2 but I still think you should have no trouble getting one on launch day if you really want it.

Seriously...OK go to WalMart at 23:59 tonight and ask them to bring one out of the stock room. Not glamorous at all but you get one first.

apple tv isn't that popular with the masses as apple's handhelds (ipad, iphone, ipod). you should be able to get one with ease. i'm still on ATV2 and i have no need to upgrade. thank you Canadian data caps.
