fatal error display mode

yeah so i recently got monopoly on my macbook but the problem is, every time i try to open it, it says: Fatal Error! Could not set display mode to 800x600x16. please help, would appreciate it, thanks loads!

back in 2005 i believe, it's a pretty old disk, i'm actually getting it for my brother as a birthday present. my mac's chipset is an intel GMA X3100, think thats useful information. thanks again.
