I've been on quite a few threads on Apple's discussions and then coming back later to find they have been taken down (not authorized)

...I think you may be looking into this a little too far, interesting post though :p

Apple loves to censor their boards. It happens after problematic product releases too. They could take a better approach to this. If multiple threads come up, lock them and post a link to the original thread on the topic at the bottom to route users toward a single discussion of whatever issue. This way you can still have discussion without ten threads on one subject.

I doubt the board moderators know the future of the Mac Pro.

Regardless, although it's a PITA they censored the discussion, it's not an uncommon occurrence on those forums.

Could we have this for Mac Rumors, please? And a pink pony, too!

The ultimate in irony, Apple is running this ad today!

Why the hell can't they come out with a proper update??? this is insane!

I was posting on a newly-created post over at Apple Discussions about the fate of the Mac Pro and it too was vanquished from this earth.

Who's got Tim Cook's e-mail? I think I should e-mail him about this whole Mac Pro being discontinued situation.

It doesn't mean anything. The guys running the forum don't know the fate of the Mac Pro, they're just killing duplicate threads.

Not that you shouldn't email Tim Cook. But threads being removed doesn't mean anything either way.
