Hi Folks,
Since yesterday, my MacBook Pro won't charge. It only charges if I hold the Magsafe connection in as tightly as I can for about 5 seconds, but then when I let go, nine times out of ten it just stops charging as soon as I let go again. On a few occasions however, it actually stays in and charges, but then I can't move the MacBook while it's charging.
There is nothing visibly wrong with the connection, and I've tried gently moving the pins in case one of them was stuck, but nothing has worked - both connections are clean.
I'm going to try my power cable on a different MacBook Pro tomorrow to see if the fault lies with the MacBook or the Magsafe.
Has anybody else heard of this at all?
Cheers,
Steve.
