I got my 2021 Pride solo loop last week and have worn it a few days. It fits me perfect and it is really comfortable; however I think it may be faulty…. On one side of the connections it seems to move quite a bit exposing a secondary piece of metal that the braid is attached onto (see photos).

This is my first Braided solo loop so I’m not sure if this is normal.

For the photos, it is the side furthest from the Digital Crown that I am noticing it, the other side is sturdy and does not move like the other side.

It’s hard to tell from your pictures. You will be able to see the metal lug some at the top of the band, when looking at the side of your wrist. That’s just a result of the design. The loop, itself, should not be coming apart from the metal lug that is attached to it.

Yeah its quite hard to take the photos showing it.
Might try and get to an apple store and see what they think

Yeah that is definitely faulty. You should bring it to the Apple Store and have them exchange it. It should absolutely not be pulling away from the metal lug:

It’s coming for a small slither of the metal part to show a little, it’s one reason why braided works best on SS, because it doesn’t show so much. That being said, it looks extreme for yours (if I can make out the photo correctly) so I’d replace it for sure.

Also, typically you can push the lug back in towards the watch once it’s on your wrist and it will ‘click’ back in and not be visible again for a while. It eventually pops back out though.
