Hi,
I was reseting my apple ID today and noticed that the favicon used by Apple for their site dedicated to deal with Apple's IDs shows a kind of a cat image... I find it very weird and misleading and wonder if someone else might have notice that already. I have tried unsuccessfully to find a threat that explains such a breach in users trust but...

I am using Chrome and Yosemite 10.10.1

Also, attached there is a screenshot taken today at 23:34 madrid time.

Thanks for checking out and posting something that explains it.

UPDATE: this is the picture I meant: https://id.apple.com/favicon.ico

I don't see a favicon there when I click on the link. Perhaps there's an issue with the Favicon that causes Chrome to misinterpret the favicon for that site. Clearing the cache should resolve the issue though.

I have cleaned the cache and now I dont get the cat anymore, but still it is very weird. Thanks for your replies!
