What are your favorite apps or rather, which apps do you find to be the most useful/ingenious or well built?

My initial list (just broke out of jail today):

-Sendsong: great for swapping music and for allowing me to use my ringtones.
-Service: allows me to toggle my controls off...especially SSH which drains battery
-Summerboard: themes!

I only use the NES app. and the widgets app.
i want a full visual version of osX(not the widget interface). Essentially the iphone is a mobile widget viewer but why not a mobile computer? just access you computers processors over edge for processor intensive apps. this would be a great hack or improvement my apple.

Also sending processor requests over EDGE? Not very efficient at all. Even with WiFi. Care to wait around for a while? Applications being developed are not "widgets" but fully compiled applications built in Objective-C and around Apple's iPhone Frameworks. Widgets are just html and javascript pretty much, not very powerful or flexible.

Also there is mobile VNC already for the iPhone so you can remotely access your Mac/Windows PC. Using my Macs at home is pretty pointless, I barely get a whole dialog box into one screen at a time. A full Mac OS on a screen this size, would be very hard to use. That's why they created different frameworks for the iPhone. Something easy to use and also something to take advantage of the great touch technology.

just for very processor intensive applications like photo shop or something. You could also access your media over edge.
ps. it would be slow.

Is SSH why my iPhone only last 12 hours today??? (I have only done one full charge so far with my iPhone.

don't think so.. but maybe download the services app. and turn off then check your battery life again
