How much more black could this be?

From a few pics I've seen, quite a bit. Its almost like a black shade of grey.

It could be better/darker but Space Black is definitely the best MacBook Pro color now.

That's "Apple Black". Not a regular shade of black mind you.

I'll have to see the Space Black in person to really judge it, but in photos it barely looks distinguishable from Space Gray.

I’ve always went for Silver in the past. I’ve only ventured on blacks for the iPad and two iPhones (the X and Xs).
On this new MacBook Pro I like both colours (Silver and Black Space). I went with Silver because I love its timeless look and also I think it will be easier to hide fingerprints or dust. And also, I love the contrast between the black keyboard and the silver body, it looks so sleek and nice.
However I have to say I was (still am
I guess 🤭) on the fence only because the Black Space will look absolutely sick using it on darker rooms, where the only thing popping out will be the screen and the Keyboard!

Edit: I’ve decided to cancel my Silver and order a Space Black instead for pickup at the Regent Street store in London (online orders slipping to end of November already). I have not picked up a MacBook at an Apple Store in a long time! Exciting!!

Space grey for me for the moment BUT I will see in the store because the silver matches my Iphone 15PM white.

Silver is classic Apple. I've always regretted getting a space grey one, but that will be corrected when I'll receive my silver M3 MBP.

I'm still on Team Silver for an MBP.

I absolutely adore my Midnight 13 inch M2 MBA but I'm not sure how that color will work with an MBP. Silver is such an iconic/classic color for a professional Mac. it's the color of my M1Pro 16 inch MBP and, were I to upgrade that to an M3Pro, I would get silver again.

It has been reported that it has a "Special Apple" coating that protects it from Fingerprints, Body Oils, Pizza Napkins, Hot Pocket Sleeves, Cereal Milk, RedBull, RockStar, Intergalactic Spoodge . . .
