What is you go to breaking news app?
I use Fox News and AP Mobile. Not sure which one I want to keep. But like having a good/reliable breaking new app with push alerts.

Journalism major here lol so I have all the major news apps on my phone. In my opinion AP is the best- content remains updated and I use push notifications ALWAYS come before any others! I love the APP! They have a lot of content and variety to read on their app as well and it looks nice. CNN is a close second- they've got a lot of content as well and always stream breaking news or live CNN programming through the app. Only set back is CNN notifications sometimes come in as promotions for their programming and come a bit too often. I have ABC's app to watch the newscast and other programs so if you're looking for video content or full news broadcast ABC is best. NBC is ok, CBS is terrible and everything other than the top stories are hardly updated weekly. Don't use Fox so can't give an appropriate review.

Just to add: ABC just updated their news app it's now customizable. You can choose what news is important to you and what you would like to be notified about. At the end of the day(local time) the app will display the days biggest stories which you can also customize. It's actually pretty good.

I use USA Today. I liked CNN's app a lot, but then they changed to that absolutely hideous font, and I can't stand to look at it now.

I use Circa too, but it's more of a tl;dr version of news. Aside from that, I've used the CNN app. But I think I'll check out the AP app mentioned above to see how it compares.

The one thing I wish the AP News app was the ability to pay to remove those ads. I honestly can't stand reading articles with iAds at the bottom.
