I have had an odd issue with my Favorites Playlist. After working perfectly since it was introduced, my Favorites Playlist stopped updating. The last time the playlist received its weekly update was 3+ weeks ago. The other weekly playlists (Chill, and New Music) have continued update properly. The Favorites playlist is the primary way I listen to music when I don't have time to choose something specific to listen too, so this is very frustrating.
Also odd (and probably related), the Daily Playlists all reflect music I don't listen too. They are filled with Columbian music and other latin music playlists. Similarly, my Artist Spotlight Playlists are all Latin music also.
I have checked and I recognize every song in my Apple Music play history and there have been no purchases made on my account that were not my own. I also have checked the list of devices under "Manage Devices" and they are all devices I recognize. The issue is across all devices and I have tried signing out and back in to Apple Music with no change.
Does anyone have any ideas on what could be happening or how to resolve it? I have reached out to support at Apple but it is going nowhere so far. Support was very attentive about looking into the issue until it was escalated to an iTunes Store Senior Support person, who seems barely interested in resolving it.
