FB Messenger app - is it broken?

This is probably not for iPadOS 15 alone, still I post it here.
For about a couple of months now, the facebook app and messenger app integration is broken.
When on facebook app and I want to message someone, messenger starts, but it is empty and does not start the conversation with the other user.
Has any one else noticed this, or does it only happen on mine?
It happens only on my iPad and not on the iPhone, though.

Is a Facebook app broken is like asking „Is it unhealthy to cuddle with a bear?“.
Yes, by principle, no matter how it might seem at first.
Anyway, it seems „reasonable“ that this is a problem that not only you experience and might not be fixed soon, considering Metas workspaces are being rearranged right now and the Metamates are busy with different stuff.

Yep, the FB Messenger app is always broken IMO. It has never worked well at all. I stopped using FB Messenger a long time ago once it became a major SPAM generator. Basically all it does is allows jerks who illegally get access to FB friends' accounts to SPAM the bejeezes out of you. I uninstalled the garbage and posted a message on my FB page telling all my friends that I don't use that garbage app and never will and asked them to contact me through other methods if they need to contact me.

No bro you got it wrong asking a Facebook app is broken is like asking for a miracle, lol.

im not certain how or why it’s broken but it can’t be bad if it was.
