FCE and JVC 720p24?

I could've sworn Apple fixed the problem with JVC HD cams running 24p, but in my little quick setup window I only get the options for Apple intermediate codec 720p30.
Not good, as I have a tape here shot ON a JVC HDCAM running 24p!

Help?

FCP 5.1.2 should work w/JVC's 24p, but I don't know if they fixed FCE. And just to pick a nit the HD100 is an HDV camera not an HDCAM camera.

I meant a JVC HD Cam(era)

In case it doesn't work, is there a software that will make it work?

You could use Lumiere HD but it's $179.
