Every time I open FCP X, this box appears and asks me to choose a FCP library

Screen Shot 2017-01-10 at 11.50.33 AM.png

I know that if I hold the Option key when starting FCP X, this box will appear, but I don't. I did try to delete preferences of FCP X, even reinstalled (on my old laptop, I got this for a few months now).

What is happening here? Is this a bug? Anyone got this?

Cheers

I don't have the answer to your question, but could offer a workaround, perhaps?

Go to the location that the FCPx library is (in the finder)
Make an alias of the library icon.
Put the alias wherever you want.

Now, if you double-click the alias, does FCPx open that library automatically?

Double clicking either the library file itself or the alias can open that library fine. I have that problem when launching FCP X by clicking on the FCP X icon.
