I'm curious if anybody out there has any tips for managing and editing stock footage within FCPX (currently using 10.4.1). I've been mostly doing photography but have an increasing library of footage from my travels and looking to get into stock footage.

Here's a rough outline of my current process:
  1. Create New Event
  2. Create New Project for each resolution/frame rate used (4K/24p, 1080p24, 1080p30, etc) to match source to output.
  3. Drag all related footage onto timeline
  4. Trim clips to desired lengths
  5. Apply an adjustment layer (LUTs, color, etc) across entire timeline for consistent look.
  6. Apply individual adjustment layer per clip for exposure adjustment.
  7. Duplicate project once for each clip.
  8. Delete clips not used until single intended clip remaining.
  9. Set Export options to desired resolution, Video Only (no Audio).
  10. Command + E, Enter, Enter, Down Arrow to queue exports for processing.
  11. Modify Export settings, repeat for each group of resolution (4K, 1080, etc).
From what I can gather, FCPX lacks the ability to batch export a timeline into individual clips and there are workarounds by importing the project into Davinci Resolve, which I am not currently interested in purchasing. Not completely opposed to Premiere Pro since I already pay for LR/PS monthly, but mainly hoping to stick to FCPX because it is more intuitive to me.

Is anybody out there using FCPX for stock footage and do you have any tips to share?
