God I love this program. Been using it for a couple of days on my mac mini (i7).

Now, I don't know how well it works on other mac computers, but using proxy on fcpx works great. I have been looking for answers myself for a couple of weeks, to find out how well FCPx runs on mac mini. So for those who wonder, it works pretty smooth.

I only have the 4gb at the moment, but I feel that 16 would give the program more caboom.

FCPx works really well on mac mini, compared to programs like Cyberlink Powerdirector on a PC.

ps. FCPx gets my vote for best program ever. Love it.
here's a little something I put together in just a over a hour of work:

I come from FCP 7 and I have no clue how to use this thing...

----------

Good job on the editing! Love some of the Scene effects you used.

thanks.

I heard that FCP7 is a whole lot better than X.

I have been using powerdirector for about two years, so it felt a bit like going from driving cars, to learning how to fly a helicopter. But I really love editing, so I have to learn. There is so much to learn in tcp.
