OK, so who's with me on this? I feel like every time I hold my phone in Safari, I want to use the photo button as a page scroller.

Thoughts?

It would be awkward to reach and duplicates an existing core feature.
Well look, I don’t know how awkward it would be for you. I certainly don’t. However saying “but it duplicates”…. Just about everything has two ways of getting done.

This would be cool, kind of like the jog wheel the Sony Ericsson P-series + M-series and BlackBerry phones had back in the day…

The Camera Control button is too low for single handed use. The button is recessed to avoid unintentional clicks and scrolls, which makes it awkward for normal use. For two hands, why not just use the touchscreen?

I get what you mean - change the function of the button into a scroller. Not changing any parts out.

Honestly I think it could work, but it feels awkward and in the wrong place to be used in this way.
