Idea: why not have an iMessages interface in iCloud that allows users to read/write/search through messages in iCloud similar to how gmail works? Reason why people would want this is many users pay to store their iMessages in iCloud but the interface is terrible through the native iMessages apps on both iOS and macOS because of speed - moving this to a web browser would put the storage and processing in the cloud where the data already lives.

Why bother when there's perfectly serviceable apps out there?

The next change is going to probably be changing three Mac app to use Catalyst.

Why do they have an iCloud mail client? Same reasons :)
