Just curious about some features you guys would like to see in iOS that are currently in Android. For me, since we now have the OLED display, I'd like to see Google Earth Style live wallpapers like on the Pixel 2. Picture in Picture. The "Now Playing" always listening song identifier.

Ability to create folders and put things in to folders with out the use of; iTunes and iCloud services.

Google Calendar style app. So when i view a month I don’t just see dots in the Apple calendar.

Ability to edit words spelling without deleting entire word.

Ability to select the text I want to delete, instead of holding back button for 2 min.

Can't you select text now and delete it that way?

As far as calendar, I believe there are some third party apps that provide the ability to view more about events in month view. I believe even the Apple iOS Calendar can show what's on a particular day in month view when you select that day (while still staying in month view).

Notifications
What in particular about them, out of curiosity?

The groupings, the way they just seem to work in Android. Even phone calls are notifications now.

I agree. Notifications on iOS do suck. I hate the widgets page too. I wish we could arrange icons how we want and place widgets where we want. I like the Pixels new notification dots. When you long press on a notification dot on an app it lets you respond to the notification. That's pretty cool.

Android groups notifications by apps and you can swipe all notifications of one particular app away while retaining the others.

Thats why im still using Google Calendar, so i can see all my scheduled events in a monthly view and not just dots.
Google Calendar example attached.

Ah, yeah, not sure why Apple got rid of the grouping and sorting options that were there before.

Yeah, that one isn't something that Apple's iOS Calendar offers (I think weekly view is as far as something like that gets). But that's the benefit of being able to use a third party app that provides that.

There's a lot! Based on stock android:

- Total Silent Mode
- Automatic silent modes based on location, calendar events etc.
- Ability to play more then one audio source at the same time
- Ability to rename bluetooth audio devices
- Option to deactivate an alarm earlier when you're already awake
- Timer display inside notifications without going into the app or the lock screen
- Notifications (grouping, snoozing, blocking, lots of customisations)
- Double press power button for camera
- USB C instead of lightning
- Fingerscanner gestures
- Auto unlock features based on WiFi, location, on-body-detection, bluetooth speaker etc.
- Soft keys instead of hardware keys
- Configurable animation speed
- Battery saver on all devices
- Battery usage display
- Ambient display
- keyboard swiping
- automatic keyboard translation
- Gboard's keyboard gestures
- double press on app switcher to get back to recent app
- split screen on phone
- notification light as well

More info on GPS performance, e.g. satellite position and signal strength.
More info on WiFi performance, e.g. channel info and signal strength for available networks.
"Open with" selection.
Select and change default applications.
Mouse support (yeah, I know but I had to throw it in - I need a mouse).

Double tap to sleep. I already have raise to wake.

I want Apple to add gesture control on a future update for all the older iPhones to use. Gesture control is software-based and can easily be added. It's like Safari when you swipe at the sides to go back and forth between pages.
