I this got my macbook pro 17"HD 2.4Ghz 4GB memory with the 160 GB harddrive with 7200rpm..

My first thought is that this is the best notebook on the market, first the shipping order on Tuesday morning upgrade everything from apple from the memory, HD display and the hardrive... It shipped late Friday and its here in Duluth, MN on monday that is fast shipping..

This baby is fast everything loads up with any bounces from itunes, internet and I ripped a dvd that took know time at all and sync it two my apple tv before it was time for me to take my son to the Dr.

The harddrive is very fast and makes know sound out all and fast its the segate 160GB 7200rpm that apple is using at this time... If you buy this computer get the harddrive, you won't be sorry.

I know the memory cost me $$$ but you know what Im going top keep this computer for many years and I also have apple care so I dont have to worry about buying 3rd party memory and having to explain why it killed my macbook pro.. So if you can afford to buy the apple memory then do the same..

Last the screen I can't believe that they can fit a 23" display on to a 17" notebook... But they did and its so cool, everything is sharper and very bright... I have only one issue the letters are so small but I cant deal with it... Its only a problem if you work like 3 hours on this thing then moved to a large display everything looks crazy.. But you must still get the uograde I download a trailier in 1080 and it was better then my $3,000 sony 1080p in my living room... So go figure that !!!!!

Im very happy that I spent the money with apple, now I have a peace of mind wit my hardware

I will post pics later

Your subject does not make any sense at all... First time I read it, it was like Fedex accidently dropped your MBP or something.. Anyway, enjoy your new machine... I'll order mine on August since I'm currently on my trip now... :p

You seem to confuse screen size with pixels.

They have the same amount of pixels (1920x1200 = 2.304.000 pixels).

Oh thank god... I spent a good minute reading his subject line over and over because I thought it was just me
