I got an e-mail from Apple informing me that my 17" had shipped today at 7ish AM. And yet, FedEx apparently hasn't been updated with the tracking number. Should I be concerned that my tracking number still isn't working on the FedEx website?

No. Tracking is often buggy. It's not uncommon for tracking pages to say that your package is in another country while the delivery guy is ringing your doorbell.

The FedEx page estimated my delivery for May 11 (I ordered on April 30). My MBP came on 5/5. Don't listen to the tracking, it's busted.

I guess it'll get here when it gets here... the 11th isn't far off, but I would just feel better if I could track its progress. Just antsy for my first Mac.

sign up for the updates to email or text on ur cell phone. that way if your out you know it is delievered and you can go pick it up from ur fedex location

Curses! Apple claimed it shipped the 8th when FedEx says it shipped the 9th... still, FedEx estimates it to arrive the 11th.
