I am now owning the 2010 MBA since 2 weeks or so. I git myself 4GB, 128GB and 1.8Ghz. Before I was owning the latest MBP 13" 2.4Ghz, 4GB.

Actually I did not reeeallly have the need for a lighter MB but I just wanted to try out the combination out of weight, SSD, ... and: RESOLUTION!

The speed is completely fine and actually really nice. Only thing speed related that does not work since some days: When I wake it up out of standby (i.e. open the lid), it takes sometime 3-4 secs. My MBP however sometimes needed 20 Seconds (!!!). I have the same software installed and assume it is due to either Dropbox or Pogoplug. Havent figured out yet why it is not instant on. In the beginning it worked (on the fresh install).

One downside, I am not satisfied at all with: The keyboard is not as good as with my MBP. On the MBP it is like typing on a wooden platform with nice responsive keys. The MBA is not as responsive mechanically (sorry, do not really know how to express in english, I hope you know what I mean).

Typing on a new MBP is 100% (i.e. PERFECT) in my opinion. This is more like 95%. I miss the Backlit keyboard but that is fine for me.

I think I like the MBA better. It is just super nice having this low-weight notebook. Typing with MBA on a deck is much better than on the lap. For the MBP it does not matter so much, maybe because it is much heavier?
