Very nice work, I especially like the the arrow rocket thing under the create section, any way to get a 1920x1200 version for my desktop? I also like the making of picture, the final is beautiful. What painting program do you use, illustrator and PS?

Keep up the good work.

The paintings are boring. Its just your logo, with graffiti. Perhaps some variety?

I only liked the ornate one in the create section. The arrow thing is neat, but could use more.

you only have one thing in type, its mis aligned and kind of distracting.

the photo "tutorial" is neat. though, i wonder how much was actually hand done?

Nice work, I love your style of work. really good stuff :)

I would defo like any desktop backgrounds with some of your stuff, if you ever do tell us :)

:apple:

No offense dude. but nothing there is original. Sorry If It's a bit harsh.

What I see there is just basically copies of the style or elements of artists. That type experiment is basically the "LOVE" logo. the 4th piece there is just a tutorial from Computer Arts done by Chuck Norris. The graphic elements you used there on that tutorial (plants, girl, background) were included in the CD that came in that issue of the magazine, and it doesn't matter wether you are good or lame, you always end up with the exact same result since it's a step-by-step tutorial.
The other stuff is just very random and not much can be said about it.
Even though I saw no originality on your site, it is a good idea to play and discover what you can do with photoshop.

But I do however....see that you will enjoy doing this for a living. So keep going, study hard and good luck.

Your right about the computer arts tutorial, although itryed the tutorial myslef and those were the images by me, i was just trying to learn, gimme a break, admitdly i thought i mentioned it was from a tutorial in the comment part,it does look the same but come on, its not like im stealing it,i bought his book aswell ITS BRILLIANT i recommend it for anyone, from it i learnet a lott cool technniques,id show you them, but ud probably say it wasnt original enough , because hey, im 16 now, time to get serious, the love logo i actually saw in NYC AFTER i had made it, i live in the uk and was going on a graphics/art trip since i study graphic design at "high school".Its random because that was the stuff i had at hand, and what i had made at school, basically the answer to your question is im too young to be really serious about my work, my work is probably no where near as good as yours, seeing your an art director, i envy you :p

Ps: its Chuck Anderson i think i of the top odd i think, If Chuck Norris did ARt it wouldnt look like that :p

Calm down. This field is all about critiques and swallowing your pride unfortunately.

You don't suck at all. But the work there was not enough to criticize. That is all.

The awesome thing I see about you is that you're learning the stuff that people will be learning a few years after you and that's only if they are dedicated.

I was like you too when I was your age, trying to learn things and play around with things. Those early years of playing and experimenting paid off once I was in art school and even more when I was out trying find a job.

You'll probably be a part of the small bunch of people out of the whole graduating class that has that extra something that will make you and your work stand out from the rest of your class. So keep going coz you'll do fine.

You probably know this ones....but check out iso50, electricheat.org and hejz.com. If you like Chuck Anderson's work you'll like these guys' stuff. There's tons of tutorials and stuff about them in many magazine including Computer Arts.

and HAHAHAHAHAAA!!!! OH MY GOD!!!! Can't belive I said Chuck Norris!! HAHAHAHAHA!!! can't stop laughing.

looks good.. i think you definetly are showing a lot of potential.. don't take critique the wrong way...everyone has to starts somewhere it will be interesting to see if you keep at it!
