I've been working on a modern port of the classic Mac OS game Glypha III and am looking for some feedback on it.

For those who aren't familiar, Glypha III was originally developed by John Calhoun in 1995, with the first version of the game (in black and white) being made available around 1990. You can read more here: http://boredzo.org/glypha

Anyways I decided it'd be fun to try and port the app to OpenGL/Cocoa (the original was written using QuickDraw/Carbon). So download it and let me know what you think! See if you can beat my high score of 946500 at level 33 ;)

I remember Glypha! Gosh, I had tons of fun playing that game... though I never got scores even close to yours. :p

I will download and try this when I get a chance.

I did make a minor tweak to the gameplay: the maximum number of enemies moved up to 12 from 8, so there are a lot more on screen in later levels. I also added little score floaters which show when you kill an enemy. This was from Glypha IV which is hosted on Apple's website (I don't think it was an official version).
