I've been using both of these for quite some time. I tend to use Gazette a bit more because it was syncing with Google earlier and I'm used to it, but now Feeds syncs with Google and its faster.

However, lately I'm finding both apps to be really buggy. Things like the unread badge number just disappearing for no reason, the app not matching google's unread number after a sync. Hitting sync and nothing happening (Feeds), and reading some articles and finding them unread again after returning to the app at a later time.

Anyone else having these types of problems with either app ?

these apps are really starting to piss me off.

OK, I cleaned up my google reader account on my pc by basically marking all my feeds read with the exception of one. I left 3 unread articles.

I go into FEEDS and sync. It correctly shows all feeds with nothing unread except the one, with 3. I close FEEDS. The badge on my home screen still shows 156 unread items. I re-open FEEDS to find all of the unread articles still there. What is going on ?

Argh, that sucks ... I don't have a solution to your specific app, but I too am a Google Reader user and use the Byline app which syncs to Google Reader and has offline reading capability. Love Byline, I've never has a problem with it.

My main problem with Byline is that it's so slow, takes forever to sync!!

Feeds keeps crashing out on me

Gazette isn't great at the moment, and the developer seems to have vanished after saying an update would be out in the middle of January

So I went back to NetNewsWire
