Going back and forth between my iPad (OS3.2) and my iPhone (OS4.0), I see icons by themselves on the iPad and say, "Didn't I group that into... oh yeah." I hope they get the operating systems in synch eventually.
For a while, I was always going to the iPad for my email, because it was easier to check all my accounts with the two-column landscape format. Now I'm back to checking mail on the iPhone, because the "all in one mailbox" feature trumps the nicer layout on the iPad. I'm looking forward to autumn, when the iPad will regain the lead in that respect.
I realize there will always be hardware features that cause the two OSs to behave differently, but when it's just a matter of software functionality, it would be nice if they behaved the same... just as OS X features work the same on a MacBook as they do on a Mac Pro.
