I'm just curious to those of us who have the maxed out m2 max 16 inch. is the fully maxxed out version temptin' to you so much so that you will upgrade? i did not watch the keynote -- i just went straight to the store and configured the max version.

i got mine on launch day and abso-smurfly want to get the fully maxed out m3 max. just deciding on if i want to trade it into apple or sell aftermarket.

what is your opinion on the trade in value for the fully maxed 16 inch m2 max through apple? apple currently give about 2700 dollars.. i think thats absurd but im not hip to the trade in values, hence the question.

my prediction is maxed out M2 Max's mbps are meant to hold out for very long years... if one was to upgrade frequently at one point maxing it out would be redundant as it defeats the purpose.

Unless you live on the bleeding edge of the bleeding edge and your computing needs are truly tremendous, there is absolutely no reason to upgrade from the M2 Max to the M3 Max. You're just creating more e-waste in the world.

I am upgrading from M2MAX to M3MAX and bumping 64 memory to 128. Keeping 4TB. We buy Macs all the time. Someone in my company will end up with the M2MAX or will be sold to a place such as cashforyourmac. This has more to do with want than need. The M2MAX is a great and fast machine.
