Feral have a couple of games entering beta and we are opening up beta signups to interested Mac gamers who would like to help playtest some of this years biggest Mac titles. We cannot mention the games by name as they are still unannounced, however they are from the first person shooter and platformer genres.

What am I expected to do if I sign up?

You need to have time free to be able to play new versions of the game and log any issues you find in our bug tracker. You also will be asked to confirm that bugs you have reported are fixed in newer versions. People who are able to play about 10 hours or more a week are preferred.

Beta versions of the games are quite large, so you will need to have high speed broadband to download and activate them. You'll also be required to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA), agreeing not to talk about the games in public.

How do I sign up?
You need to send an email containing your full name, address and the spec of the Mac(s) you own to this address:

beta [AT] feralinteractive.com

In the event you are selected to participate in a beta test, you will receive an e-mail informing you and directing you to our NDA sign-up page. You can then complete the sign up process and join the Feral beta team. Any questions feel free to drop the beta address an email and we will get back to you.

Look forward to hearing from a few of you,

Edwin

Sounds great, too bad I don't have 10 hours + a week free time to spend on this. I would love to help you guys out. I have extensive experience beta testing software. If you need someone who can do an hour or two a week, I could help you out. But otherwise, I'm really busy. Good luck, I think that Feral is one of the best companies for Macs out there, and I hope that you are very successful.
