I take the plunge and buy one.

I've been contemplating between a MBP and the iMac for a while and I've decided to go with a SR macbook pro. I haven't decided on the 15" 2.4ghz or 17" 2.4ghz model yet. But anywho I have a few questions regarding the MBP.

1) I have a 19" ViewSonic monitor and I plan on hooking my MBP to it. Is it possible I can use the MBP monitor and my 20" at the same time or I can only use the 20" monitor?

2)Will the new SR MBPs be sufficient enough to run video editing? I've been thinking about getting Final Cut along with my MBP. I want to do some video editing on the side along with photography/photoshop as my primary.

3)If I install a bigger hard drive through an Applecare retailer/repair center (CompUSA) will that void my warranty with Apple? I'm worried 160g won't be enough HD space. I would prefer 250g. If I need more HD space I can always go with an external HD.

4)Difference between the 5400 RPM and 7200 RPM 160GB HD is worth the extra $150.00 upgrade price?

5)The keyboard skins for macs are worth it? If so can anyone recommend a site that sells covers and kb skins for macs?

I don't want to comment on your questions, mostly because I am not qualified, but I do want to say I checked out your website, and I love the quote from your video!

1) I'm not 100% positive but i'm pretty sure you can
2) definitely
3) This is debatable throughout the forum, your best bet is either calling apple or the repair center and asking them.
4) The only reason I would get the 7200 is if I was moving very large files frequently (such as raw video)
5) Personally I don't like adding stuff to my belongings. But if you search you could find a thread with reviews and links.
