My daughter needed to have her iPhone 11 screen replaced so I made an appointment at the Apple store. As part of the process they updated the software and reset the phone. They ended up not having the exact part or something and wanted to send it out or keep it over night but we don't live nearby and so haven't even gotten in fixed yet but anyway...[end rant]

When I was restoring her phone from an iCloud backup, I got notices that there were purchases from other Apple accounts and that those passwords were needed to re-install. First I saw my account and then my wife's. We approve all her purchases and we use family sharing, so I wasn't surprised to see those pop up. I think we also have bought music and transferred to iTunes that she put on her phone so I think that would prompt for a password as well?

Then, there were two email addresses that I didn't recognize and my daughter didn't either (but she doesn't email much so might not know her friends' email accounts). What are some ways that she could have gotten items purchased on her phone from other people? Would it be something like someone sharing a purchased song or app with her somehow? We got a little nervous that someone was accessing her phone, but there aren't any other problems, no random charges from Apple, etc. I didn't write down the email addresses otherwise I would probably try and track them down that way.

Hoping that it's nothing bad. She downloads lots of random free games, but I thought that Apple was pretty good about security for what's in the App Store.

Thanks!

Just off the top of my head. Someone could have easily signed your daughter out of the App Store and signed in with another Apple ID. This would allow them to download an app onto her device. When I worked for AppleCare Support this was a common issue. Restoring a phone and using a backup during setup would put those back onto the device. Again, just a thought. Scour the App Library and delete/remove anything you don’t recognize.
