I know this is a huge stretch at this point but does anyone know of an application on a modern Mac (specifically an M1 Air) that will convert a txt file into a Palm Doc (Ereader) format? I am able to still do it on a Windows computer but would much rather do all I need on my Macbook.

Calibre is the go to Mac converter for all book formats. It is able to export to .PDB which I suspect is your eReader format. Try it.

At first look, Calibre is cumbersome to use. But is works well and is very (too?) flexible. Start by ignoring options and just let it do a conversion.

Thanks, I will give it a try. I remember using it serval years ago. I had forgotten all about it.

FYI to anyone else that might ever have this question. Calibre does indeed work. It does have a bit of a learning curve to it but does get the job done. Thanks again giby101!
