Hello and greetings to all from New Zealand!

I'm hoping that I am in the right place. I have recently download three files and all of them have the suffix: .dms in my searches on the Internet, all I could find was a reference to this particular suffix being an Amiga file format standing for " DISK MASHER " I do not think, that this is the correct application to open the files.
One is a final cut pro update, the second is the latest update for UT 2004, the third is for a software application called bit player.

Could anybody tell me exactly what the suffix: .dms refers to and what application I would use to open the file.

Any advice , help or tips would be greatly appreciated,

Kind regards,

David :)

Indeed

Hi!

That is what l expected also, but not what l got... hmmm?

Cheers,

Do you have SpeedDownload installed? There's apparently a bug in it that will sometimes cause Safari to rename dmg extensions to dms. Try uninstalling SpeedDownload if you have it, or for a temporary fix just change the extension of each file to dmg.
