I'm using file sharing to wirelessly utilize a HD in my cMP as a Time Machine Disk or my MBP. All works great except I'd like to restrict MBP access to ONLY this HD, not the cMP SSD boot drive and user folder.

Here's my cMP file sharing settings:

and here's what I have access to from my MBP:

Again, I'd like only the 1TB HDD to appear here, not the SSD & user folder.

Thanks for any help here!

Sam is the admin account on your mac pro. Sam has read and write access to all volumes on that mac pro. Make another account strictly for sharing purposes, and give that account access only to that single drive.

Done.

Thank you very much! Is it possible to use the guest account for sharing purposes? I'd like to avoid having another home folder / other second account overhead if possible. It looks like even for a "sharing only" account, a home folder is still created. (I'm OCD).

EDIT: Did a quick search, sounds like "sharing only" accounts don't have a home folder. Thanks mate!
