...hey, the other day someone posted something about missing 20 gigs of HDD space....then one reply was pointing him towards an app that shows file size of all files on your machine, and lists them in that order, in the folder view.....

...what is it?

I really like Omni disk sweeper. I would never have bought it, but it came as as part of Omni's accidemic suite.

Doesn't the license just give you a delete button? Whoopee. I'll delete myself thank you very much...

And how are the studies going? Accidemic work is hard, especially for those who can't spell.

Mistakes Corrected in Red

Pardon the following digression for the main thread topic.

My workstation, a WinTell machine, doses not have any of my extra tools, like SpellCatcher. Pardon the spelling errors.

I happen to be dyslexic, and have other learning disabilities. On my Mac, I have tools, provided native to the OS and through third party software, to catch more errors.

Perhaps you meant to be funny, but it's a sore spot to me. Imagine being in your thirties, and having a 3rd grad spelling level. Cut me some slack. The purpose of the forum is to offer help to others. Some of it good, some it questionable . I was just reinforcing an opinion that another member offered.

In reality, if your a grammarian or a spelling Nazi, kudos to you and your small world. Few, other than myself, would call me stupid. Changing other peoples opinions of me is not really an issue, but changing my own opinion of my self is really difficult.

If you have questions or comments, rather than posting with the intent to public defame a poster, please feel free to PM them instead. It works better and don’t add to useless posted fluff on the boards. :) Never confuse the need to be honest with the need to be mean.

As far as the academics goes, it's difficult. I work between 40 and 80+ hours a week for a non-profit. I am in school full-time, and I don't have a car. It's a stretch, but there are harder lives to live.

Back on task.

I wouldn't have purchased OmniDisk Sweeper had I not purchased a suite of products. I needed OmniGraffle and OmniOutliner to do some flowcharting. My employer uses Viso, which OmniGraffle exports to. OmniDisk Sweeper color codes file types, and for me, that's great. But in all honesty, the tool is not a necessary one.
