Hi,

I wish Apple had created a more robust file system with the upcoming iPad OS15. However, it’s not the biggest deal so I was just wondering what people were doing since the current iPad file system is pretty limited.

I personally am using Google Drive for the majority of things. I’ve tried downloading a few apps for the App Store on this but they didn’t seem to be really worth it after using them a while.

I use FileBrowser Pro, primarily because I have found large transfers with Files to be unreliable and it corrupted files when working with exFAT storage. Also works with SMB connections and all cloud storage and works well for local file management. And it has had a progress indicator for transfers, something that until 15 has not existed in Files. I use Files as rarely as possible.

Similar to @sparksd.. I use FileBrowserGo. I was hesitant on paying for the app, but it's reliable when working with external drives... paid for the subscription.

I use file browser pro too, but only really for its photo xml capability and its batch file name changing ability. But files is pretty good for basic everyday tasks if you learn the differences and I much prefer the layout of files. File browser pro is not overly intuitive.

Another happy file browser user here!

Thank you for recommending File Browser. I downloaded it and set everything up and it’s pretty nice.
