iPad mini File transfer recommendations

Hi!

When I mount my iPad and drag files over from my Mac it doesn’t show the progress anywhere.

Is there an app peeps can recommend that makes file transfers between iPad and Mac more “clean”?

I got the app already on my iOS devices but it doesn’t have a counterpart on MacOS. Still need to use Finder on Mac which won’t give me any indication of how much of my files have been transferred already or how many are still left in the queue.

shared folder on the mac and then use FE FileExplorer or
FileBrowser GO/Pro on the iPad. Or start a WebDAV-server on the iPad using one of the apps and connect from your Mac and copy.
