My girlfriend got a new MacBook (not pro). I'm on a Windows computer. What software can I use to transfer a file to her? Is there any version of AIM that can do file transfers with iChat? If not, is there another program that is compatible? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. I had trouble with an older version but I'm gonna try AIM Triton tonight. She is also behind a firewall (university connection) so that might be a problem.

Are the computers are on the same local network or is the Internet between them? if on the same network you could simply share a folder. Then whatever is inside that folder you both would see.

We're far apart. She's on a dorm connection at the University of Texas and I'm on DSL in Wisconsin. If she's behind a firewall, any tips for getting around that?
