Is there a way (simple way) to get the file transfer speeds while transferering files between hard drives? Like on windows!

oh i see, so theres no way to get that on the mac os current window for file transfer?
Why should you? MacOS does not need to copy MSWindows.
I wrote my own transfer program in JAVA but now I wonder why I do not use Activity Monitor.
Seeing all possible info doesn't make it any faster.
;JOOP!

I'm assuming the user simply wants to see the transfer speed in the same window that is currently copying files.

It seems like a hassle to open another program (Activity Monitor) just to check the speed.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Why would i not? Its one extra info at the right place instead of opening extra apps to see the same info...
