Hi all Im new here. Bought my first Mac just today and I'm pretty excited about it. It's the 2 GHz MacBook. I'm figuring most of the new stuff but but I'm wodering what the easiest way is to transfer all my music from my old PC to my Mac. So I'd like some advice, and specific advice at that because I'm kind of noobish with any computer :) Thanks in advance!

Not sure what you have for equipment, but I would say the easiest way is to network them via ethernet to transfer the songs.
How many files are we talking about? CD or DVD RW disks would also be quick an easy.

I have found using an external hard drive (which I would also recommend to have around for backups) works great. I've transferred all my files from my old PC to my iMac G5 and new Macbook (this includes pictures and all of my iTunes music). Also, though you didn't ask, using the Apple Backup program works very well. I made some inadvertent mistakes and messed up my Address Book today, and was able to recover due to having my data backed up on my external drive.
