I'm just writing to ask whether anyone has had an issue with Mojave where certain file types disappear from Spotlight content searches when double-clicked? For me this has been happening with Mojave 10.14.3, 10.14.4 and 10.14.5, mainly with RTF, text, HTML and Web Archive files... RTF files seem to be OK when I do a clean install of Mojave on an external drive, but I've tried wiping my internal drive and doing a clean install of Mojave and then bringing my data back across, and unfortunately my RTF files are still going...
Well, would be grateful for anyone else's experiences and/or any troubleshooting tips anyone might have, cheers,
