anyone else experiencing this? i'll go, in an app, to save a file, and it will show up in the parent folder, not the target folder.

it's happening a lot.

i'll say this: the sierra beta is the buggiest beta i've yet run; workable, but full of small (and annoying) quirks. just a statement (not a complaint; it IS a beta...)

Same here - saves to parent folder of chosen area to download - or "one level before".

Happens when downloading files from web sites.

Does not happen with every application, for me it is happening with firefox downloads, saving MS office files, saving adobe acrobat pro - which seems to crash a lot.

but not with safari downloads

right, I only did some limited testing with Pages & that seemed to work fine. my guess is that Apple's apps don't have the issue.

I was mostly noticing it in Chrome.

seems to be fixed in PB3 for me.

I'm noticing another bug related to saving now, where Documents are synced in iCloud. in Chrome, I try to save in a certain folder that has the "download iCloud/in iCLoud" button but I can't navigate in there. I thought everything was stored in iCloud. so I have to save the file in the root of Documents then move it in Finder later.
