We are looking for an alternative way to provide a file share for the MacBooks in the office.
There must be some kind of best practice for this.
Currently, a Windows file server is accessed via SMB. Here the performance with the MacBooks is not acceptable, even with smb v3.02.
What alternative cloud solutions are there to map a complete file server? Something like Azure or maybe a private cloud etc.?
The fileserver is meant for directories with documents like pdfs etc.
There should be around 8-12 people accessing it.
onpremise is not desirable
