FileVault decryption stuck - cannot install Mojave

Hello, guys! I set my FileVault decryption on but the process has gotten stuck at 98% for days and I cannot get to shut it down. I can use the iMac just fine, the only problem being that I'm not allowed to upgrade to Mojave because of this. Anyone been through this and got to a solution? Thanks a bunch for helping!
